Hellgate London

First of all I love this game I own steam version and DVD retail copy.

The Hellgate: London is a legendary action role-playing game presenting a near future devastated by demons. As a survivor, you must fight minions of darkness and rescue humanity.

Characters
Hellgate introduces six classes of characters to choose from. Each character has its philosophy, training and combat skills. The class you choose is an important factor that determines a game play. In addition to the class, you can choose visual physical attributes like gender, height, size, hair, skin color etc.
Character customization system allows you to create your own unique character and raise its level and skills through quest and battle performance against the hordes of demons.

If you just want a single player game this is for you fully enjoyable I have spent hours on this myself and includes Hellgate : Tokyo content. At time of writing game costs £10.29 UK, $12.99 US. There is also a VR version but this has not been received well.

London 2038

But if your like me and played the game when first released you may miss the online game. Thankfully there is a solution LONDON 2038 completely free private server but you must own the original retail version released in 2007. THE STEAM VERSION WON'T WORK.

I have looked on Ebay and have found that DVD retail version of the game is cheaper than the steam version. But not everyone has DVD drive these day. You can download the files online I wont link the due to piracy concerns but if you do use this method I do recommend at least buy a disk copy for the game key at least.

Now time for instruction to get it working. Links below to patch and launcher below

1 : You need to install the retail game. Select English language and choose North America as the region.

2 : Download and install the MP 2.0 TCv4 Patch

3 : Download the London 2038 launcher 7zip file, and extract Launcher.exe and Patcher.xml into your Hellgate: London game directory (by default, “C:\Program Files\Flagship Studios\Hellgate: London”)

4 : Run Launcher.exe from your Hellgate: London game directory mentioned above. The launcher will download a patch

5 : Click “Play” when the patch is completed and enter the credentials (username and password) you entered in the signup form.
